The Staubli RCE-11 safety coupler is equipped with a 16 mm hose spike, while the Staubli RCS 11 is a push-button-operated safety coupler. Pressing the black button once stops the air supply, vents the air, and keeps the hose securely in place within the connector. Pressing the button again releases the hose.
