Baumer FCE 200C1Y00 is a coaxial diffuse-reflective plastic fiber optic cable designed to pair with Baumer compact fiber amplifiers including FVDK 10 and OF10 series, delivering stable object detection for confined industrial installation spaces. It features an M6×0.75 axial cylindrical threaded sensing head made of solid stainless steel, with a head dimension of 6 mm diameter × 20 mm length for easy locking and integration into narrow equipment housings. Adopting coaxial fiber layout, the separate transmitting and receiving fiber bundles are concentrically arranged inside the probe, delivering uniform 60° emission angle and consistent detection performance regardless of slight target angular offset.
The unit comes with a standard 2-meter (2000 mm) plastic fiber cable with PE outer jacket (2.2 mm outer diameter), featuring a minimum fixed bending radius of 20 mm to resist fiber fracture during frequent cable routing around machine frames. Its detectable range reaches up to 400 mm when matched with high-power fiber amplifiers, with adjustable response time ranging from 0.05 ms to 5 ms to accommodate high-speed production lines or stable slow-motion detection scenarios. The wide operating temperature window of -30 °C to +70 °C enables reliable operation in cold storage, heated workshop and general factory environments without signal attenuation. In addition, the plastic fiber can be manually shortened on-site to customize cable length for layout optimization.
