Datalogic Sensor

Datalogic offers a comprehensive range of sensors tailored for industrial automation and control applications, leveraging advanced technologies to deliver high-precision, reliable, and versatile solutions.

1. Photoelectric Sensors

Datalogic's photoelectric sensors utilize electromagnetic, acoustic, or optical principles to detect object features such as position, shape, color, and distance. The product lineup includes:

Cylindrical M18 Sensors: Available in diverse optical configurations and versions for universal applications.

Miniature Sensors: Compact models with short-range optical capabilities for space-constrained installations.

Compact Sensors: Equipped with advanced performance and multi-voltage compatibility.

Large-Format Sensors: Built-in timing and logic functions for heavy-duty industrial applications.

2. Color and Contrast Sensors

Employing RGB light sources, these sensors enable fine-grained detection based on intensity and/or chromaticity, with applications in color verification and quality control.

3. Luminescence Sensors

UV-equipped fluorescent sensors detect invisible fluorescent markings or components, critical for anti-counterfeiting and traceability in industries like pharmaceuticals and food processing.

4. Distance-Measuring Sensors

Based on Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology, these sensors achieve distances up to 20 meters (RRX mode), with applications in logistics automation, robotics, and material handling.

5. Specialized Sensors

Slot Sensors: Equipped with 2–120 mm slots for rapid label or small-part detection.

Fiber Optic Sensors: Designed for confined spaces or critical areas requiring precision detection of micro-objects.

Color Mark Sensors: Utilize white or RGB LEDs for registration mark detection in printing and packaging machinery.

6. Ultrasonic Sensors

The US30 and US50 series offer long-range detection (up to 8 meters) and temperature compensation, with output options including digital (NPN/PNP), analog (4–20 mA, 0–10 V), and IO-Link connectivity for smart diagnostics.

7. Vision Sensors

Integrate image processing capabilities for real-time quality control, defect detection, and dimensional measurement in manufacturing lines.

8. Safety Sensors

Includes 2- and 4-level safety light curtains with advanced features like integrated shielding, blanking, and cascading for machine protection and hazardous area access control.

9. IO-Link-Enabled Sensors

Models like the S8 series support intelligent data exchange, reducing wiring complexity and enabling remote diagnostics. Features include:

Polarization Filters: For high-precision, long-distance detection.

Dual-Channel Outputs: Allow online configuration during full-speed operation.

Anti-Interference Design: Ensures stable performance in noisy industrial environments.

10. Lighting and Illumination Systems

Includes LED ring lights, bar lights, and axial-diffuse illuminators with wavelength-specific options (e.g., 470 nm blue, 625 nm red) for optimized imaging in machine vision applications.
