The IR3 Flame Detector is designed to detect flickering, low-frequency (1-15Hz) infrared radiation emitted by flames during combustion, even if the lens is contaminated by oil, dust, water, vapor, or ice. Equipped with three IR sensors, this detector can distinguish between flames and other sources of radiation by responding to different IR wavelengths. To prevent false alarms caused by flickering sunlight, the detector utilises a combination of filters and signal processing technique. For added versatility, the Talentum IR3 detector offers selectable output options, including relay contacts or a 4-20mA signal, as standard features.
