II. Product Structure and Key Features
Washdown Design — The motor features a corrosion-resistant washdown coating, and the housing can withstand high-pressure water spray cleaning. It is specifically designed for food, pharmaceutical, and other applications requiring regular washdown. The TENV construction has no external fan, so there are no fan cover gaps, making it difficult for moisture and contaminants to enter the motor. This provides higher reliability in wet and humid environments.
Inverter Duty Motor — Designed specifically for PWM inverter drives, supporting a wide speed range. Maximum speed can reach 2700 RPM, and it can operate continuously in inverter mode. The windings are treated to resist dv/dt spike voltages, making them compatible with industrial inverters. Direct line operation is not recommended for extended periods.
NEMA Standard Mounting — 143T frame, compliant with North American NEMA standards. Flange and foot mounting dimensions follow US standards, commonly used for replacement parts on imported equipment.
Protection and Insulation — Class F high-temperature insulation withstands winding temperature rise caused by inverter operation. TENV construction with no cooling fan relies on natural heat dissipation through the housing.
III. Working Principle
Three-phase AC asynchronous motor; speed regulation is achieved through adjustable frequency and voltage output from the inverter. The TENV design has no fan, so all heat is dissipated through the motor housing. Because there is no fan, low-speed operation does not suffer from the poor heat dissipation of standard TEFC motors, making it suitable for long-term low-speed inverter applications.
Important Note: This motor has no cooling fan and relies entirely on housing heat dissipation. Do not exceed the ambient temperature and speed ranges specified on the nameplate.
IV. Typical Applications
Food processing, slaughterhouse, and seafood processing production lines
Beverage filling and pharmaceutical equipment (workstations requiring high-pressure water washdown)
Wet process conveyors and mixing equipment
Replacement parts for imported North American equipment
Industrial sites with moisture, high humidity, dust, and regular washdown requirements
