RICKMEIER pressure relief valves RSn and RSnE are used in the field of oil hydraulics, lubrication technology and with many different oils or lubricants. Valves for installation in pipes are for pressure relief purposes. They are not safety valves according to DIN EN ISO 4126-1.

2、PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTION

RICKMEIER RSn(E)-pressure relief valves are directly controlled. Their design is simple and very robust. The spindle (3) enables a precise adjustment of the set pressure. As an option the spindle can be equipped with a handwheel.

The spindle is fixed by tightening the cap nut (6). The piston (5) needs only a small breakaway force and allows a sensitive reaction of the valve, when the set pressure has been reached. Sharp edges at piston and valve housing (1) reduce sensitivity to dirt particles in the fluid. For set pressures up to 10 bar valve type RSnE is preferred, in which the spring chamber is relieved and thus the large piston area is effective.
