The Bimba FM-5050-3 from the United States is a Flat-I® ultra-thin series double-acting cylinder, featuring a bore diameter of 50 mm and a stroke length of 3 mm. With a body thickness of less than 15 mm, it is specifically designed for applications with extremely limited space. The entire cylinder is constructed with a 304 stainless steel housing and a hard chrome-plated piston rod, offering excellent corrosion resistance and washability. It incorporates low-friction seals, enabling a starting pressure of ≤0.1 MPa and a maintenance-free lifespan of ≥5,000 km within a pressure range of 0–0.7 MPa and a temperature range of -20–80 ℃. The M8 magnetic reed switch slots on both sides can be equipped with switches for in-position detection. The front end offers dual mounting options with external threads and through-holes, providing fast response and high rigidity. This cylinder is well-suited for micro-stroke clamping, lifting, and positioning in high-density fixtures within the electronics, medical, packaging, and other industries.
