The American Bimba 508-DXP is a double-acting heavy-duty pneumatic cylinder. It features a bore diameter of 2-1/2 inches and a stroke length of 8 inches. It is equipped with adjustable cushioning at both the front and rear end caps (DE) and a tie-rod construction (RP). The cylinder has an anodized aluminum barrel exterior, can withstand a pressure of 250 psi, and operates continuously without maintenance within a temperature range of -20°C to 82°C. It comes standard with a stainless steel piston rod and composite seals, with an option for magnetic reed switch sensing. It is suitable for high-load automation scenarios such as stamping, clamping, and lifting.
