The Bimba FMD-095-4F is a Flat-I® ultra-thin series double-acting cylinder with a metric design. It features a bore diameter of 27 mm, a stroke length of just 5 mm, and a body thickness of less than 12 mm, significantly saving installation space. The entire cylinder is constructed with an anodized aluminum housing paired with a stainless steel piston rod. The FKM composite seals enable lubrication-free and maintenance-free operation for ≥5,000 km within a pressure range of 0–0.7 MPa and a temperature range of -20 to 80 ℃. The cylinder is equipped with M5 magnetic reed switch slots on both sides, allowing for the installation of proximity switches for in-position detection. The front end offers dual mounting options with external threads and through-holes, facilitating rapid integration into high-density fixtures or small automation equipment. It is well-suited for micro-stroke clamping, positioning, and lifting applications in industries such as electronics, medical, and packaging.
