The DB9-R-P8(12)-SAE(0)-PII-SXF is a pilot-operated relief valve designed by Germany's RICKMEIER for high-pressure lubrication and hydraulic systems. Its core value lies in precise pressure control and industrial-grade reliability, making it widely applicable in heavy-duty fields such as mining machinery, wind turbine gearboxes, and marine hydraulic systems.
Normally Closed State:
When the system pressure does not reach the set value, the ball valve (16) seals the oil guide hole of the valve disc (15), and the main valve piston remains closed under the combined action of spring force and hydraulic pressure differential (with the pilot diameter being larger than the valve seat diameter).
Precise Pressure Relief:
When the system pressure rises to the set threshold, the ball valve lifts, allowing control oil to drain back to the tank through internal flow passages. The main valve piston moves upward due to an imbalance in pressure differential, relieving high-pressure oil.
Pressure Adjustment:
By rotating the adjustment shaft of the pilot unit, the spring preload can be altered, enabling coverage of a pressure range from 8 to 350 bar (the "P8" in the model number indicates the base set pressure).
