Product Overview

Structural Design

Compact Double-Acting Cylinder: Utilizes a double-acting drive mode, with independent air circuits controlled via ports A/B to enable bidirectional piston movement. It supports an operating pressure of 100 PSI (approximately 6.9 bar) and is compatible with both air and hydraulic media, making it suitable for high-load applications.

Anti-Rotation Mechanism: Incorporates Bimba's patented square piston rod (instead of the traditional hexagonal shape), effectively limiting piston rotation to less than 2.5°. This ensures highly precise linear motion and reduces assembly errors.

Materials and Durability

Stainless Steel Cylinder Body: The cylinder body is crafted using 304 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish, significantly enhancing corrosion resistance and making it suitable for humid environments, chemical solvents, or clean applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Sealing and Lubrication: Standard NBR seals (with excellent oil resistance) are included, with the option to upgrade to FKM fluororubber seals for high-temperature applications (>70°C) or hydraulic oil media, reducing expansion rates by 40%.

Dynamic Performance Optimization

Multi-Stage Buffering Technology: Integrates a triple buffering mechanism consisting of an air buffer valve, elastic gaskets, and mechanical stops to suppress end-of-stroke impact during high-speed emergency stops (>1 m/s), thereby extending service life.

Rapid Response: Optimized air circuit design ensures start-stop delays of ≤15 ms, meeting the timing requirements for high-speed sorting (≥120 cycles per minute).
