The pressure reducing valve SPV is a direct-acting spring-loaded sliding piston valve.
It is designed for pipeline installation and is suitable for protecting low-pressure hydraulic circuits up to a maximum pressure (pmax) of 20 bar (30 bar).
Pipeline connections can be made either via SAE mounting surfaces (3000 psi) or Whitworth pipe threads "G."
The pressure reducing valve is available in four different models with distinct pressure setting ranges, determined by their spring rates.
Each compression spring can only cover a limited pressure setting range.
