The DPF 2/6-HX-150 is a six-cavity high-power mobile or base station duplexer suitable for the 136 - 175 MHz frequency band.
This type of filter utilizes six large cavities measuring 40 x 40 millimeters each, all equipped with 3.5-millimeter silver-plated helical resonators with a diameter of 19 millimeters.
The use of large cavities and resonators implies a higher Q, enabling smaller duplex spacing and lower losses.
The larger size extends the rated power to 100 W continuous.
The DPF 2/6-HX-150 is specifically designed for single-channel equipment but can be adjusted for broadband operation with slightly reduced specifications to allow for the use of multi-channel equipment.
The cavities are made of extruded aluminum, and the chassis is made of passivated steel. All coaxial cables are of the semi-rigid type, and all connectors and cables utilize polytetrafluoroethylene.
The filter is coated with black vinyl to prevent corrosion.
