The R65/200 is a gear pump from Rickmeier's R65 series, specifically designed for industrial fluid transfer and suitable for high-viscosity and corrosive media.
Core Advantages
Low Noise and High Suction Performance: The short and straight flow channel design, combined with a special tooth profile, enables quiet operation (<75dB) and excellent self-priming capability.
Durability:
Housing material: Grey cast iron (EN-GJL-250);
Gear shaft: Hardened carburized steel (16MnCrS5+FP), offering wear resistance and impact resistance;
Bearings: Large-sized composite sliding bearings that support dry running (short-term operation without lubrication).
Sealing Flexibility: Standard radial shaft seals are provided, with the option of mechanical seals (e.g., when transferring high-temperature or corrosive media).
Detailed Structural Design Explanation
Component Composition
Three-chamber structure: Main housing + drive cover + end cover, with a modular design that simplifies maintenance.
Integrated Pressure Relief Valve: An built-in safety valve (opening pressure of 5 bar, adjustable range of 4–16 bar) provides internal bypass protection for the system in case of overpressure.
Bearing System: Special-coated sliding bearings with a lifespan exceeding 20,000 hours, suitable for frequent start-stop operating conditions.
Operating Principle
Double-gear external gear volumetric pump:
Suction side: The gears disengage → volume increases → vacuum draws in fluid;
Discharge side: The gears mesh → volume decreases → fluid is squeezed out.
It supports the transfer of gas-liquid mixed media, can evacuate air from the suction line, and quickly establishes a stable flow rate.
