The RICKMEIER DB9-B-P40-SAE is a hydraulic pilot-operated pressure relief valve specifically designed for industrial hydraulic systems and lubrication technology. Its core function is to control system pressure and prevent equipment damage caused by excessive pressure. However, it should be noted that it does not fall under the category of safety valves as defined by DIN 3320 standards; instead, it is used for routine pressure relief protection.
Structural Design
Pilot Control Structure: Composed of a main valve (housing, piston, orifice, compression spring) and a pilot control unit, it achieves precise pressure regulation through hydraulic action.
SAE Metric Connection: Utilizes standardized interfaces to meet the piping connection requirements of industrial hydraulic systems.
Dual Sealing Mechanism: Achieves sealing through the cooperation of a ball valve (16) and a valve disc (15), under the combined action of hydraulic pressure and spring force.
Performance Parameters
Maximum Flow Rate: 1,800 L/min (note that there may be variations among models, with some valves in the same series having a flow rate of 650 L/min).
Applicable Media: Suitable for clean lubricating oils such as gear lubricants, hydraulic oils, and crankcase oils that are lubricating and non-corrosive. Media containing hard impurities is prohibited.
Pressure Adjustment: Increase pressure by rotating the spindle clockwise and decrease pressure by rotating it counterclockwise.
Durability and Adaptability
Manufactured from high-strength materials to withstand high pressure and harsh operating conditions (such as those in mining and metallurgical equipment).
Supports internal/external control oil circuits: By default, it features internal oil return. If fluctuations in tank pressure affect accuracy, an external "Y"-shaped oil tube (DIN3852-X-G3/8 interface) can be connected to stabilize performance.
