Camozzi Unveils Smart Flow Sensor Series to Enhance Air Treatment Systems

Camozzi has recently rolled out its innovative FSX series of smart flow sensors, designed to provide manufacturers with a more comprehensive and detailed view of their compressed air systems. These cutting-edge sensors combine real-time monitoring of flow, temperature, pressure, and optional humidity in a single, compact unit, facilitating enhanced air quality control and energy management.

The FSX series smart flow sensors are available in two housing sizes and offer three distinct flow ranges: 20 to 2,000 L/min, 50 to 5,000 L/min, and 100 to 10,000 L/min. This versatility allows the sensors to be deployed across a wide range of applications, from small branch circuits to high-demand main lines, ensuring precise measurement and monitoring in any setting.

In addition to providing real-time readings, the FSX sensors also calculate power (kW), energy consumption (kWh), and total air consumption (m³). This comprehensive data set can be directly fed into plant monitoring or energy management systems, enabling continuous tracking and optimization of compressed air usage.

The FSX sensors feature Ethernet connectivity, allowing seamless integration with Camozzi's MX2 and MX3 air treatment platforms. This integration facilitates a more holistic approach to compressed air control and performance monitoring, streamlining operations and improving overall system efficiency.

To support the FSX sensors, Camozzi has developed the UVIX software platform. This user-friendly software allows for easy setup and ongoing monitoring of the sensors. Users can adjust sensor parameters, configure network settings, and define operating ranges from a single interface, without the need for separate tools or complex configuration procedures. The UVIX software also provides live data views and historical trend analysis for flow, pressure, temperature, humidity, power, energy, and dew point, enabling engineers to quickly identify and address any issues.
